#XrisLogbook 199 - Progress • Patience • Partners 🇲🇺

👍🏻 After months of delays and frustrations, we’re finally starting to see the finish line at Cocoon Bay. Still a few hurdles ahead, but progress is becoming visible. Lucy earned another House Points at school, which brought a welcome smile. And a lovely evening discovering the colourful world of Mauritian artist Pascale Lagesse. 🎨

👎🏻 Lucy’s adjustment to her new school is taking longer than expected, and watching your child navigate those challenges is never easy. Add the endless little complications of Mauritian administration and some challenging business relationships, and patience gets seriously tested. Shared ambitions are easy; navigating disagreements and difficult moments together is the real test.

✍🏻 Some weeks are about moving forward. Others are about holding things together while figuring out the next move. Progress isn’t always spectacular, and resilience isn’t always glamorous. But both are part of building something that lasts.
