👎🏻 My Cartesian brain had an interesting week. Out of nowhere, my foot became incredibly painful and red. Clinic, X-ray, blood test, medication… no explanation. Then a lifelong friend, who practices something much closer to magnetism than medicine, offered to help. I believe in this stuff about as much as I believe in magic but pain makes you surprisingly open-minded. A few hours later, the pain was gone and the redness had disappeared. Placebo? Coincidence? Something else? I have absolutely no idea. I’m still a skeptic. Just a skeptic who can walk again. 🦶

✍🏻 The more technology evolves, the more I value face-to-face conversations. From Gstaad and Geneva to Paris and London, I’ve been catching up with LPs, Familly Offices and potential partners. We can automate research, analysis and increasingly large parts of our workflow. But allocating capital is still, fundamentally, a people business. Trust rarely starts in a spreadsheet. 🤝
