👍🏻 This week brought an invitation I couldn’t possibly decline: a seat at “la confrérie des passionnés de la côte de bœuf”, where Geneva’s low-key yet highly influential crowd gathers around one glorious passion: meat. Warm welcome, sharp humour, exceptional côte de bœuf… an absolute blast. 🥩

👎🏻 A flight to Geneva gets cancelled, and an entire day, planned with military precision, goes up in smoke. 🤯

✍🏻 Canada House looks calm and diplomatic on Trafalgar Square, in 2025 it quietly celebrates its 100th year as the home of Canada’s High Commission in the UK (officially opened on 29 June 1925). Inside, behind its polished Georgian-Revival façade, lie corridors draped in Indigenous art, custom maple furniture and hidden tales of wartime meetings; a little slice of Ottawa in the middle of London, polished on the outside, full of stories on the inside. 🇨🇦
