👍🏻 Fifth year in a row hosting our partners’ seminar in Cabarete: reviewing wins, owning mistakes, and shaping what’s next… all with a glass of rum, a cigar, and a front-row seat to our cacao trees quietly doing their thing. Turns out long-term strategy works better when nature reminds you to think in seasons, not quarters 🌱

👎🏻 This week my luggage clearly had a different life plan: while I went London → Frankfurt → Puerto Plata, it opted for London → Frankfurt → Zurich → a 3-day personal development retreat before finally rejoining me. Bold strategy, poor communication. Lesson learned: always keep essentials with you… suitcases love autonomy ✈️

✍🏻 After 15 years in London, I finally started the British citizenship process. What I learned? Becoming British is less about drinking tea and more about surviving a pop quiz most Brits would fail, proving your English level (again), and accepting that patience is a paid feature. Process: book the Life in the UK test → memorise kings, dates and laws no one discusses at dinner → pass → prove you speak English → pay a four-figure fee → wait politely → keep saying “no worries” while refreshing your inbox 🇬🇧
