👍🏻 After a productive week in the , I returned with a bounty of natural treasures. Eager to share the wonders of the island with my daughter, I planned to introduce her to the simple sweetness of sugarcane, proving that nature itself provides delightful candies. As is customary after our annual visits, I also brought back a supply of cocoa pods, the fruits of our labor from our own finca near Cabarete. The days ahead promise to be filled with exciting discoveries and delicious treats. Who wants a taste of handcrafted chocolate ? 🍫 🇩🇴

👎🏻 The skies remain stubbornly tethered to the past. , despite its transformative power, remains a fossil fuel behemoth, spewing carbon emissions with each flight. Will I live to see the day when sustainable aviation fuels power supersonic jets, gliding through the heavens with a whisper instead of a roar? 🛩️
