👍🏻 This week, I did something radical: paused life for 5 days. No school runs, no meetings, just a proper out of office. I took my 10-year-old on her first-ever trip to NYC (cue pizza, skyscrapers, and “are we in a movie?” moments), caught up with old friends, and actually remembered what joy feels like without a calendar invite. Highly recommend. 10/10. Would do again. 🗽✨

👎🏻 New York City is a blast … until the bill arrives. Thanks to inflation, mystery taxes, and tip requests that pop up faster than a Broadway encore (even when no one actually did anything), the price you see is more of a teaser than a total. You’ll need a calculator, a strong heart, and maybe a small loan to enjoy that $6 coffee that somehow rings up at $9. Transparency? That left town with your budget. Welcome to NYC … where even the tip jar has a side hustle. 💸🍎

✍🏻 Did you know that beneath New York’s polished skyline lies a city of hidden layers and mind-blowing stories? From a secret presidential train platform under the Waldorf Astoria to an abandoned luxury subway station frozen in time below City Hall, NYC holds mysteries that even locals walk past daily. Entire neighborhoods like Seneca Village, once a thriving Black community, were erased to build Central Park, while whispering walls in Grand Central let you hear secrets from across the room. New York isn’t just a city, it’s an ever-evolving archive of human ambition, reinvention, and untold history. It reminds us that what’s visible is only half the story, just like in business and innovation. 👀✨
