#XrisLogbook 45 - Wisdom in Unexpected Places 🇬🇧
👍🏼 We strive to impart our wisdom upon our children, to guide their footsteps along the path of life. Yet it is our children who often become our greatest teachers. Their boundless curiosity, their unwavering joy in the simple things, their capacity for unconditional love – these are the qualities that remind us of the true essence of life: to embrace wonder, to cherish the present moment.
👎🏼 The wisdom of separating one's ego from their position is a powerful principle for navigating the complexities of life and work. When we intertwine our sense of self-worth with our ideas, opinions, or roles, we become overly invested in their validity. This can lead to defensiveness, rigidity, and an inability to learn and grow.
✍🏻 Zoombombing, the unwelcome intrusion of uninvited guests into online meetings, can disrupt and derail important discussions. To safeguard your virtual gatherings, implement security measures: a meeting password, avoid sharing meeting links publicly, lock the meeting once all intended participants have joined to prevent further entry, finally, consider disabling screen sharing for attendees until they are individually granted permission.
